Oat bars with raspberry jam

Ingredients

1 fl. oat tea
8 tbsp butter
1 fl. tea all-purpose flour
1/2 fl. tea brown sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 fl. tea raspberry jam

How to:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and use 1/2 teaspoon of butter to grease the inside of a pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Cut the remaining butter into pieces, add it to the bowl with the flour and oat mixture and use your hands to work the butter into the mixture until it all looks like wet sand and there are no large chunks of butter left.
Pour half of the oat mixture into the pan and press it down until it forms an even layer.
Stir the jam to break up any lumps, then spoon the jam over the pressed oat mixture in the pan. Try to avoid adding the jam too close to the edges.
Once all the jam has been added on top of the bottom layer of oats, sprinkle the rest of the oat mixture on top, leaving it loose.
Bake the oat bars for about 30 minutes or until the top is a nice golden brown.
Remove the bars from the oven, let them cool, cut into nine squares and serve.
