Ingredients
500 gr. minced lamb1 small onion, grated
1/2 fl. of tea breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, melted
1/4 fl. tea coriander leaves, finely chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
For the mint yogurt sauce:
3/4 fl. yogurt tea
1/2 fl. mint tea leaves
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cooking salt
How to:
Add the reserved yogurt and mix. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Place all the meatball ingredients in a bowl.
Mix well with your hands and form into small balls. You should have 20-24 meatballs.
Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
Add half the meatballs and cook, turning to brown all over, 8 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
