Ingredients
400 gr. pennies1 fl. tea marinara sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
120 gr. mini pepperoni
240 gr. mini mozzarella balls
2 tbsp butter
1/2 fl. of tea breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
Finely chopped basil, for garnish
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
How to:
- Add penne to salted water and cook according to package directions until al dente.
- Melt the butter in a pan over low heat. Add the breadcrumbs and red pepper flakes and cook, stirring regularly, for 4 to 5 minutes until the breadcrumbs are cooked through and golden brown. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- When the penne is cooked, drain and return to the hot pot. Stir in the marinara sauce and oregano.
- Remove from the heat and add the mini pepperoni and mini mozzarella balls.
- Serve the pasta and garnish with fresh basil.
